A graduate, with Honours in European Studies and French from the University of Dundee and the Université de Grenoble, France. Mr. Mackie joined Mondrian in 1997. Prior to that he worked for the European Commission in Brussels and Hodgson Martin Ltd (Investment Managers) in Edinburgh. Mr. Mackie was previously a senior portfolio manager in the Mondrian Non-US Equity team and sat on the Equity Strategy Committee. Subsequently, he moved to head the London-based Client Service and Business Development team, responsible for all clients and prospects outside North America. Mr. Mackie holds the ASIP designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of the UK.
