Originally from Charleston in South Carolina, Mr. Orvin was a US Army officer before becoming a financial planner at Mass Mutual in 1983. His first wholesaling job was in 1986 with Van Kampen Merritt in Dallas, Texas. In 1991 he joined Delaware Investments, first as a wholesaler then a Sales Manager, later becoming Head of Relationship Management with Lincoln Financial Distributors. He left Delaware/Lincoln in 2007 to pursue a couple of start-up opportunities before working for Allianz Global Investors in New York City from 2009 to 2015. In May 2015, Mr. Orvin joined Pioneer Investments in Boston to run their Business Development team before joining Mondrian Investment Partners in June 2018.
